About Demon-Dayz

Willie learned to sail shortly after he learned to walk and has followed a career at sea ever since, sailing dinghies to super-tankers, for the last thirty years the offshore industry has kept the wolf from the door but windsurfing is the enduring passion.

Linn inherited a background in hospitality but was involved in marketing and sales before moving to Thailand and returning to what came naturally: hospitality. Many years of working and building a business in Scotland while spending three months a year in Thailand has given us a fairly unique perspective on how its done in the ‘Land of Smiles’ . We moved out here ‘full time’ five years ago and know the local waters pretty well.

During one of ours many sojourns, probably in late 80’s we met Tau, who is now our windsurfing and sailing instructor. Tau has been extremely successful in local slalom competitions recently but also has a fantastic ability to make beginners comfortable and progress very quickly either on a sailboard or catamaran. Shortly after Tau joined us in setting up Demon-Dayz he married his long term girlfriend ‘Kung’ who joined our team. On April 1st 2010 April was born and already looks pretty comfortable around the beach, we are sure April will be able to sail before she goes to school.
